ArmInfo.Summer always seems to fly by — many of us feel this way. We spend months looking forward to our vacations or a long-awaited trip to the beach, only to realize that the season is nearly over before we know it. So, how can we truly make the most of summer and stretch out that joyful feeling?

ArmInfo.Due to the closure of the airspace of Iran and several neighboring countries, international  flights made forced landings at Zvartnots International Airport and other airports in the region, as reported by the press service of the National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia.

ArmInfo. Armenia has passed a law on the launch of membership in the European Union. Now we have very  close cooperation with the EU. But on the other hand, we do not have the task of breaking relations with Russia, as our foreign policy is balanced and  balancing. And this is our strategy.

ArmInfo.Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan confirmed that Azerbaijan has not  yet shared  its position and the findings of its investigations on border incidents with the Armenian side. He made this statement on June 13 in a conversation with journalists within the framework of the APRI Armenia forum.

ArmInfo.  Armen Grigoryan, the  Secretary of the  Security Council of Armenia, acknowledged the presence of factors that may raise doubts about the successes  achieved in the negotiations with Azerbaijan regarding the signing of  a peace treaty. He stated this on June 13 during the APRI Armenia  forum.

ArmInfo.  Russia has taken, is taking, and is ready to take all necessary actions to help ensure Armenia's sovereignty, its territorial integrity, and achieve  normalization in relations with its neighbors, as stated by Russian  Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin in an interview with  Euromedia24.

ArmInfo. After nearly three hours of discussions in the RA NA Defense and Security Committee, the draft law proposing a buyout of service in the country's armed forces  didn't pass, as stated to journalists by Andranik Kocharyan, head of  the Committee. According to him, 4 parliamentarians voted for the  Committee's positive conclusion, 5 opposed it, and one abstained.  Thus, Kocharyan emphasized, the document did not receive approval  from the Committee.  

ArmInfo. Russia is not only staying in the South Caucasus, but also maintaining its focus  on the region and its relationship with the Republic of Armenia, as a  fraternal and allied country. Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey  Kopyrkin made this statement in an interview with Euromedia24.  According to him, high-level visits could be a way to signal this  commitment.

The employees of the State Security Service (SSS) of Armenia took journalist Vahe Makaryan by the arms and forcibly took him out of the National Assembly building.   The incident occurred on June 13 during a meeting of the  parliamentary standing committee on defense and security during the  discussion of the resonant legislative initiative on "buying off" the  army, when the SSS employees demanded that the journalist leave the  NA building without giving a reason.

ArmInfo. Idram and IDBank will allocate 4,991,788 AMD through "The Power of One Dram" initiative to support the annual "Hayordi" camp, which will host around 300 children of deceased Armenian servicemen. In June, the beneficiary of "The Power of One Dram" program is the Health Fund for Children of Armenia, and the funds will support children with benign blood disorders. The full amount collected will be used to purchase essential medications for these children.

ArmInfo.  Armenia voted for the UN General Assembly resolution demanding an immediate, unconditional and permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. According to the official UN statement, the document was supported by 149 countries, 12 voted  against and 19 delegations abstained.
